Sister to Sister

It’s a joy to be a woman and part of this wonderful church! We love the sisterhood we have because of what Christ has done for us on the cross. It’s only natural that we want to glorify Him together in all we do! Our Titus Two mandate encourages us to lock our arms and hearts together and equip ourselves in the Word so we can fulfill the high calling God has placed on our lives. That’s why we’ve named our Women’s Ministry "Sister to Sister". If you don’t have a church home or a sisterhood like ours, look no further and come flourish with us!

Bible Studies

Unmet Expectations are a reality for each and every one of us. When our lives turn out differently than we expected, our reactions can be anything from deep sorrow and grief to discontentment, anger, and bitterness. This fall we will learn to take all of our unmet expectations and reactions to them straight to Scripture to see what God has to say about them. Please join us as we counsel ourselves with the Word of God in our unmet expectations, so that we can glorify God through all the disappointments, trials and delays of this life.

These meetings will take place on Wednesdays, starting September 6th. They are held in the Chapel and led by Christen Sparks. We will be reading Unmet Expectations by Lisa Hughes.

We will be going through 'Unmet Expectations' by Lisa Hughes this fall in our women's Bible studies. You can purchase this book either online or at our Resource Center in the lobby.

Conference

August 19, 2023

This is our annual fall conference. There are several sessions studying God’s Word, wonderful music and delicious lunches! This special time of worship is to expose the women of SMCC and women all across central Alabama to the Gospel.

Join us at 6pm in the Commons for an evening of fall fun, fellowship and a fabulous make-and-take! A wonderful opportunity to be encouraged through the testimonies of other ladies, it is a perfect night to invite your autumn-loving friends!

Christmas
Market

November 10-11, 2023

This event is where we share in a time of 'window shopping' just in time for the holidays, starting Friday from 5pm-8pm with more fun to follow on Saturday from 9am-2pm. We invite local artists and vendors to sell their work as we shop away for two days!
